De SM-RT70 Ice-Tech rotors hebben een sandwich structuur van een aluminium kern ingebed in 2 rvs lagen. De hogere warmteafvoer van de aluminium helpt de oppervlaktetemperatuur van de rotor met circa 100 graden Celsius te verlagen.
